It seems like Gil, The Jenius, wants to do me one better by posting his own list of freeware. Freeware is not open source, mind you, nor is it free software. I know the Jenius knows that. I also know, The Jenius won't mind if I do him one better, so I will give you a link where you can download, or order, a CD-rom shock-full of open source software for Windows.
It's called The OpenCD.org. Here's a brief description:
TheOpenCD is a collection of high quality Free and Open Source Software.
